These are the general rules of ReCUB 2000:
- Your objective is to repeat a sequence of buttons given by the computer, in the same order.
- Initially, the sequence only consists in one button. As you are able to repeat the whole sequence without mistakes, this increases in one more button. If you make a mistake, the computer repeats the sequence (The same sequence? : See point 6).
- You get one point for each sequence correctly repeated.
- When you make a mistake, the "mistakes left" counter decreases. (You can set the initial amount of mistakes left, in the configuration dialog).
- You also lose a mistake left if the "player time" option is enabled and you wait too much time between each button pressed. (You can enable the "player time" option in the configuration dialog).
- If the "alterning sequence mode" is enabled, the sequence changes every turn (When you repeat the right sequence, and even when you make a mistake). If dont, the sequence is always the same, and buttons are added at the end. (Yes, you can enable the "alterning sequence mode" option in the configuration dialog).
- When the "mistakes left" counter reaches to zero, the game is over.
- There is a "Top ten scores" for each configuration. If your score is higher to any of them, your name will be included in the correct position. See records for more details.
